TERRY FRENCH ~ FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Please find below details and arrangements for the funeral of Terry French on Thursday 12th May, 2011.
If you are sending flowers they must be sent before 10am to the Funeral Directors:
Dean Wilson Funeral Directors, 379 Well Hall Road, Eltham, London SE9 6TY.
Alternatively if you would like make a charitable donation Jan, Craig & Lisa would appreciate you making a cheque payable to Cancer Research.
This should also be sent to Dean Wilson Funeral Directors.
The service will be held at Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, Eltham SE9 2AZ at 11.15am in the cemetery chapel.
Please go through the gates and head towards the cemetery. Go around the chapel and park in the car park.
(Please note, this is the old chapel not the modern chapel attached to the crematorium).

The service will finish at approximately 11.45am and we will then travel to Hill View Cemetery, Wickham Street, Welling DA16 3DA for the graveside committal. The directions and location link are as follows:

Directions:
Turn right out of Eltham Crematorium; go to the bottom of the road to the traffic lights; turn right, 100 yards turn right into Riefield Road. Follow the road until it runs into Rochester Way (passing Falconwood Rail Station on the right) and at the traffic lights turn right into Welling Way. At the end (approximately 1 mile) turn left into Bellgrove Road (A207). Turn right into Wickham Street, pass St. Mary’s Church on the left and just before the Green Man pub turn left in Hill View Cemetery and follow the hearse to the graveside.
After the interment we are going to the Coach and Horses Pub, 35 North Cray Road, Bexley, DA5 3NE and I am sure we will be telling Frenchy stories all night. The location link and full directions are as follows:

Directions: Turn right out of Hill View Cemetery. Take first left into Bellegrove Road (A207). Go under the bridge and turn right at the traffic lights into Westwood Lane. At the 2nd set of traffic lights in Blackfen turn left (The George Staples pub will be on your right) into Blackfen Road (A210). Go through one roundabout. At the second roundabout take 2nd exit into Blendon Road (B2210) heading towards Bexley Village. Continue into Bexley High Street (A222). Turn right onto Bexley High Street (A223). Go through one roundabout. The Coach & Horses is on your left.
Can I please ask as many of you as possible to leave the car park clear for Terry’s family. I will leave Bexley FC club gates open for anyone who wishes to park in there or alternatively please park in road.

It is with regret that I have to inform everyone at Bexley that Frenchy passed away this morning. Terry lost his brave battle with cancer and will be greatly missed.Our thoughts go out to his lovely wife Jan and his two children Lisa and Craig who he adored.
Terry was the captain of Bexley Seniors and later became the Manager. He has been at the club for 20 years and I have spent every Saturday with terry playing football or golf for all of those years. My Saturday afternoons and Saturday nights in the pub will never be the same again.
I will let everyone know the funeral arrangements when these have been made.
